The story

Among the stalls of the nativity scenes. A one-day trip. We took the train early in the morning from Rome and came back the same evening. It was very evocative and picturesque. With a pleasant walk from the station you reach Via San Gregorio Armeno, perhaps nibbling a sfogliatella along the way. Besides wandering among the stalls and little nativity shops, we had time to enjoy a Neapolitan pizza for lunch and take a short tour of the city. I'd advise avoiding public holidays to escape the tourist crowds. We went on a Friday and, apart from the pouring rain, we managed to fully soak up the Christmas atmosphere.
