The story
In this municipality, the last in Lazio before entering Tuscany, carnival continues even into Lent. Together with the nearby Pescia Romana it organises the float parade on the two Sundays after Ash Wednesday as well. Worth visiting are the village with its castle and the nearby archaeological site of Vulci. At 4 km, the lovely beach of the small seaside resort of Montalto Marina.
