The story
A small carnival a few steps from ROME: TIVOLI. An occasion for a visit to the fine monuments of this town in Lazio. First of all VILLA D'ESTE with its spectacular water features: the numerous fountains, fed by the water of the river Aniene, are scattered through the beautiful Italian gardens of the lovely 1500s villa, built over 20 years. Also worth visiting is VILLA ADRIANA, which turns out to be the largest villa ever owned by a Roman emperor; VILLA GREGORIANA, rich in archaeological finds, natural features such as grottoes and panoramic views. In the afternoon, then, the floats and masks with the parade through the main streets of the town.
