A taxi ride between Palermo and Monreale

Second stop of the cruise: Palermo. We decide together with our dinner companions Enzo, Anna, Adelaide and Ettore to take a taxi to visit the city. Doing the math the excursion proposed by the cruise agency cost much more and didn't let you see all the places the taxi driver was proposing to us, and so we decide to entrust ourselves to Franco a true-blue Palermitan who will turn out to be a real cicerone. We will visit in order: The S.Massimo Theatre, the catacombs, the Cathedral of Monreale, the Cathedral of Palermo, the church of S.Cataldo and other small stops in particular places like the Vucciria market or to savour pane e panelle! We discovered a city of which I was unaware of all this splendour and of which we hope for a next visit maybe longer
