A Trip to Ovada (AL): Antiques Market and Summer Festival with a Bands Festival

The story

Is it better to go to the sea or to the mountains? The ideal is to take a trip to Ovada, a pretty little town embraced by green hills a short distance from the Genoese sea. Here, in the heart of the Alto Monferrato, there is no shortage of leisure opportunities even this summer, and in addition to trips and excursions along the region's romantic paths, the events organised by the Pro Loco of Ovada and the Monferrato Ovadese should not be missed either, as they meet with great success every year.

On Ferragosto, Wednesday 15 August, the Antiques and Second-hand Market will return to the streets and squares of the historic centre. The many colourful stalls will crowd the little streets from the first light of dawn until evening, displaying antiques, jewellery, prints, books, bric-a-brac, mid-century items, furniture and collectibles.

On Saturday 25 August, the Ovada in Festa event returns instead, with music, shows, stalls and tastings.
