Cavoli Beach, Elba
The clear turquoise waters of Cavoli beach and the warm breeze make it one of the most famous beaches on the island of Elba. Surrounded by rugged countryside and steep cliffs that protect the bay, Cavoli's microclimate makes it ideal for sunbathing in peace. The sand here is rather pebbly, but that doesn't stop bathers from having fun.
This coast overflows with natural beauty, as do the crowds during the summer months. About 300 metres long, the beach is divided in two - one side for bars and sun loungers, the other is free.

Be sure to go and see the Grotta Azzurra (Blue Grotto) - if you rent a pedal boat or a boat, you can explore it inside. If you're feeling really adventurous, you can join the groups of teenagers who love to dive from the surrounding cliffs straight into the depths of the sea.
