Arezzo, a true jewel

My name is ROMINA and I was on holiday for a week in Arezzo. I set off with some friends on 25/09/2012 and there were 6 of us.

The whole town of Arezzo is a true jewel, where art, culture, nature and human knowledge blend in a fascinating and moving mix.

I recommend everyone stop for a few minutes in the park known as Il Prato, which is behind the Duomo di San Pietro, from which you can admire a lovely view over the city and the nearby hills. Favourite typical dishes: Unfortunately... ALL of them!

Arezzo was a real discovery. A calm and very beautiful town. For all those who love the wonderful medieval villages that dot Italy, Arezzo is an unmissable stop. The hotel where we stayed.....Hotel aretino*** is very close to the centre, so a very convenient position, also for the station. The staff were kind and helpful. Adjectives for my holiday: sunny, pleasant, fascinating and I want to come back
