Departure at 8:30 from Marzocca di Senigallia, heading for Soraga, expected arrival in about 8 and a half hours; by our own choice we don't take the motorway but State Roads, but since we have 2 little girls we decided to take the A14 as far as Rimini Sud and then continue on the Romea, as a guide we don't have a sat nav but the printout of the route taken from the Michelin website. From Rimini the rain started to keep us company, at 11:45 we decided to stop in Chioggia for a coffee and to let the girls move around, as they had very patiently endured 3 hours without complaining. For lunch we made do in the car since it was impossible to get out because it was raining; we had already provided ourselves with sandwiches, pop corn, fruit juices, water, sweets and chocolates.
When we arrived in Bassano del Grappa (14:30) the weather was getting worse and worse and it was time to take the Statale 50 del Passo Rolle, so we called a friend of ours asking him to check on the internet whether the Pass was closed; indeed after a few minutes he called us back telling us it was impassable due to snow (30 cm), it was better not to go up to altitude, so we changed route, it was worth going around the Rolle, we had to go through Trento, adding about 60 km. At 17:30 we arrived in Soraga at Hotel La Madonnina.
