The story

Corfu was for a while my second home...because I've been there 3 times eheh...the first on the classic post-diploma trip and the other 2 times, one with other friends and the other with an ex of mine..many will have already been, and for those who haven't I highly recommend it as I think it's the best summer holiday for value for money! The island is small...so with a rented moped you can happily get around..and I recommend it, especially the north which is very beautiful; the south is the den of the English, so not exactly the best thing to do! I stayed twice in Ipsos, which is the most famous little town, and once in Dassia, just before Ipsos..and usually that's where they always send you..the sea is beautiful, clean and cool, the only drawback being those cursed stones that are there instead of sand..a real torture for your feet and back!! life basically works like this...in the mornin

g there isn't a living soul around eheh...in the afternoon everyone goes to the sea, in the evening you go out into the town waiting for night to fall, when everyone wanders around Ipsos generally among the bars, disco-pubs and nightclubs..which by the way are very cheap..but let's say with fairly outdated songs eheh! The other towns are all smaller, but full of character, for example in the north there's the little town of Sidari, famous because it has the Canal d'Amour; we were a couple, so we didn't need asking twice and we went! Probably more famous is Palaiokastritsa beach, being the only sandy beach on the whole island...and alas I couldn't take the stones any more, so we set off to enjoy some relaxation on our own sand! The weather was fabulous..maybe even too much! in fact the temperature never dropped below 40 degrees..practically an oven! The food is good...both Greek and typica

lly Italian..the only drawback of this holiday was that bloody ferry that takes like 10 hours to cross a little stretch of water from Brindisi to there...aaaaaaaaaaargh!!!
