The story

... Here we finally are at Meteora. After covering km and km with our yellow Panda through mountain landscapes and cultivated plains we arrive at Meteora full of curiosity. We soon find our hotel, drop our suitcases, and head straight to a delightful little restaurant where we eat excellent meat. Then immediately up to the Meteora, first the Great Meteora and then the others, until we have gone around almost all of them in the two days at our disposal. We enjoyed our time at Meteora; the photos don't do it justice, the landscape is exceptional, to be poised between these enormous rocks is extraordinary. Particular were the walks inside these monasteries, where in some we had to wear long trousers to cover our legs (see photos). A place surely not to be missed, if like us you love to wander round and round, far and wide, in Greece...

Our tour is now nearing its end, heading for Igoumenitsa so we can point towards Corfu and enjoy the last days by the sea
