After km and km covered on Greek roads we arrive at Delphi, an important archaeological site perched on a cliff. Here for the first time in our tour we finally hit a decent temperature, 20 degrees centigrade! We even feel a cool breeze; here we also get a couple of drops of rain, which after days of sun, sun and more sun is also very welcome, but the 'satisfaction' doesn't last long, indeed a blazing sun is back again! The archaeological site, being perched on a mountain, offers excellent panoramas; the valley below, rich in olive trees, is very beautiful. The site can be visited completely in a couple of hours, so in the early afternoon we head towards Itea to look for a hotel to sleep in. After a while we find one at a good price, but the town is very very ugly and above all sad; we recommend everyone to stay in the town of Delphi, much nicer and with more choice.
So we sleep at Itea and the next morning another stop awaits us... METEORA, considered one of the most beautiful wonders in the world... follow us in our next stop Bye from the travellers Claudio and Valentina
