I set off on this trip with my parents, devoting the first days to the most beautiful places of classical Greece. We start from Athens, which even as we land at Venizelos appears as a white expanse among the arid hills. It has a light of its own. We spend two full days here, not missing the wonderful Acropolis, the views from Lycabettus, the tradition of Syntagma, the oriental air of Monastiraki, the beauty of Plaka, the history of the Agora and the Kerameikos. We rent a car that will take us on a tour among Mycenae, Epidaurus, Nafplio and Delphi. Despite the heat we love everything, and memories of school books accompany you in these places that still seem steeped in the mystery and charm of those ancient myths. We return to Piraeus... and set off for the islands.
