Kos

Kos is one of the Greek islands next to Turkey, reachable in just 20 minutes by hydrofoil!

Beautiful and not too crowded, it's still truly to be discovered. The wild area of Kefalos, in the south of the island, is splendid. While the hub of nightlife is in Kos Town.

Beaches to visit: Kefalos, Polemi beach, Paradise Beach, Kamel Beach, St. Theologos, Agios Fokas (after Psalidi) and Tigaki Beach.

Characteristic little villages: Zia and Pili

Historical finds: the Venetian fortress of Antimachia, the Plane Tree of Hippocrates in Kos Town and the Asclepion (the ancient hospital founded by Hippocrates)
