The story

Second island of our summer in Greece. We stayed three nights, lodging in a studio with a terrace in Mylopotamos and renting a scooter as soon as we disembarked. Ios belongs to the glossy Cyclades, perhaps less so than others and more oriented towards a truly young crowd, but it still remains crowded in its best-known spots near Chora. Nevertheless, it is possible to find deserted and silent beaches here too, especially in the morning when the night owls are still asleep. The Cycladic atmosphere is respected, but it has lost part of its traditionality. Not to be missed is an aperitif at the Ios Club Sunset Bar for a heartfelt sunset.
