Another summer in Greece. Three more Cyclades on the programme. The first island we chose is Anafi. Small, remote, unknown to many, light years away from the tourism of its neighbours, wild, deserted, solitary, magnetic. Anafi is all this but not only. It is for those who seek peace, silence and beauty disturbed only by the Meltemi that blows through the alleys of its genuine Chora, the island's only inhabited centre. It is for those who love deserted beaches with no facilities, even in the height of August. It is for those who seek an atmosphere of other times, the Greece of tavernas by candlelight. Without frills. We reached it with a 10-hour crossing on the Prevelis from Piraeus, rented a scooter right away and chose to stay at the Anafi Golden Beach Resort (perhaps the only recently opened one on the island). Opened not long ago, it has few rooms in a simple and refined style.
Overlooking the incredible blue and with an infinity pool that is simply a dream.
