The story

Only an hour by fast ferry separates Amorgos from Santorini. This was a return for me, but the emotion you feel on entering the caldera repeated itself with the same intensity as a few years before. Staying a week on the island, I had the chance to visit it entirely and also to enjoy its beaches. Not to be missed is the red beach, not to be missed the beach of rocks below the village of Oia, not to be missed the tour of the caldera. But it is not the beaches that stay inside you from Santorini. It is that magical and dramatic atmosphere that reveals all the power of nature every time your gaze falls on its caldera.

In the morning, when the deep blue of the sea and of the domes represents Greece itself; at sunset, the most famous of all, capable of drawing everyone here to watch it in silence and applaud the spectacle of the last ray disappearing over the sea; at night, when the lights of Ia and Thira create a natural nativity scene that is hard to forget.
