The cEBIT fair in Hannover was the occasion that led us to spend this weekend in northern Germany. Flights and hotels had increased exponentially during the days of the fair, so we booked everything in Bremen, the city of the famous musicians. The choice turned out to be really fortunate, since Hannover, which we reached on Saturday with a rental car, doesn't deserve a long stop. Besides the town hall, there's nothing! Bremen, on the other hand, was a pleasant surprise! The market square with the Rathaus and the Roland, the Schnoorviertel quarter, the Böttcherstrasse and the Weserpromenade really deserve a visit. Go in winter... The atmosphere muffled by the falling snow, to be admired in the warmth of the fireplace over a good soup or wurst with sauerkraut washed down with a home-brewed Beck's.... it's absolutely unforgettable!
