Oktoberfest

ready, off we go..... with everything loaded into the camper, including the three little ones, at 8 pm we finally set off for the Oktoberfest............... the journey is long but done at night it's not so bad.... we arrive in Munich at lunchtime, we refuel then off to conquer the city.... the festival is HUGE, we have a wander then head towards the centre, which I must say is no less impressive... we have dinner in a little place at Marienplatz: pork knuckle and beer beyond comparison! then off to bed, the next morning we set off for Fussen to visit the fairytale castle.... which doesn't disappoint our expectations. Our short trip to Bavaria was wonderful, we promised ourselves we'd come back with a bit more time to enjoy its fantastic landscapes, its lakes and its castles....
