More snippets of Germany

We saw another little slice of Germany and, as always, we weren't disappointed. We visited Aachen or Aix-la-Chapelle and Cologne with its cathedral soaring up to the sky. Aachen, in particular, is a jewel and the "traces" left by Charlemagne are remarkable, in the truest sense of the word, since they also include the Carolingian Treasury.
