Fussen and the castles of Bavaria

Back from a week-long tour in which we visited five countries in eight days, we need a few days of calm before returning to the usual routine. Intrigued by the castles, we decide to take the car and go and see a little slice of Bavaria... a revelation: very hospitable people, excellent food and very good value for money, not to mention the splendid scenery...

Day 130 Aug 2007

We only have four days left before going back to work and we decide to make the most of these last moments of vacation as well, and so we decide to visit Bavaria, or at least three of Ludwig II's castles, we're truly fascinated, but not only by the castles and the enchanting places, also by the cuisine and the hospitality...this corner of Germany has really delighted us, as soon as we have a few more days available we'll take advantage of it to discover some other marvel.
