Despite the nausea, my first time in Paris was thrilling. Very hot in July and a whirlwind of emotions. Art embraces nature and colours teem between past and present. Antiquity blossoms sweet but determined in the corners you wouldn't expect: fabulous Marais, enchanting Notre Dame, suspended in time St Germain de Pres, unforgettable Montmartre...
