We stayed in a small flat in Montmartre, modest but it had everything; with the metro you can get anywhere, we went for the book of ten tickets, in the end it's the cheapest. There's a lot of walking to do, I wouldn't go back to the Palace of Versailles; immense spaces, but in Italy we have better. Definitely worth doing the climb up Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower. The Louvre just makes you angry, knowing that the finest pieces are Italian and should be in Italy. If you want to feel like a child again, Disneyland is the right place!
