The story

In France with Elisa We leave Casalmaggiore in her Peugeot car; it is 1989 and we pass through the Aosta Valley and enter France at Chamonix, where we sleep in a tent the first night. Here too it is freezing cold, but the landscapes surrounded by mountains are truly suggestive. Here we camp in a rather crowded campsite and we can't pay because the office is always closed. Driving and driving, we approach Paris, and here we are in a hostel south of the city where we spend the night, then the next day visit the Eiffel Tower and the Seine. But soon the chaos of the city suffocates me and we set off for the north, where we then enter Belgium and then the Netherlands. On the way back we no longer touch France because we pass through Germany and Switzerland. We do understand, however, that in France the motorways are very expensive, on a par with Italy and even more. bye
