A Weekend in Cannes

setting off for Cannes, arriving early afternoon at the hotel booked in the centre. Great chaos as it's Saturday afternoon with shops open; with difficulty I find somewhere to park, the car parks are very expensive, you have to hope for the ones along the streets, luckily on Sunday they're free! Nice the seafront promenade with comfortable chairs to sit on; very pretty the old town, with lavish lights in the evening. Visit to Cagnes, not to be missed, a stunning little medieval village, well preserved. Return passing through Nice but given the bad weather and the traffic, seen only from the car
