Few but Good... One Week.

departure from marina di carrara (Ms) to hyeres (F).

stay in an ibis chain hotel..., ordinary. departure for the island of porquerolles, delightful walks under the eucalyptus, etc., no comment..., then on to magical places, which I recommend: le langoustier; notre dame, etc. all on foot, but bike hire is possible.

in the evening a delightful overnight stay in giens, warm welcome, hospitality in a belle epoque and tasteful setting.

back on the island.

moving by car to cassis, enchanting spot, magical place, the calanques, only the first 3..., but stunning.

beaches and sun, water a bit cold because of underwater springs that pour all their fizzy chill into the gulf..., you can get used to it anyway, ed.

various visits all around and many healthy walks.

departure for st tropez, no comment, both for the enchanting places and for the fairness and hospitality.

we weren't in the "caribbean"..., but I'd say we experienced UNFORGETTABLE feelings.

the only downside, the journey back, 35 km of queue, from 1st at andora to savona.

around 5 pm departure..., arrival exhausted but satisfied with everything just described, even if only in part..., like the unforgettable and absolutely worth trying, the ecstasy of a "feed" at le lavandou, chez jo, a stilt house with genuine but fabulous cooking, on the beach of layat (naturists and not), dinner at angelina in cassis, simple, but absolutely moving, etc.

sometimes a little is enough, you don't need to travel the world, even if everything is wonderful..., obviously with the right person beside you.
