We have been to this city twice, but although very beautiful, it stayed in our hearts less than the more fascinating Venice, Rome and above all Istanbul (but this is just our point of view!). On what to see I don't think there's any point dwelling, I find it more useful instead to suggest where to sleep: the Cité Universitaire. To book, call the cts. The facilities are university residences left free in summer by the students and for this reason made available to tourists at modest prices. A particular place worth visiting is the museum of technology and more specifically the Géode: a cinema with a gigantic stereo system and a view over the whole sphere, with a screen that wraps around you 360 degrees and really gives you the feeling of being inside the film!!
