The story

The most beautiful part of France, and certainly the oldest and most atmospheric. Don't miss the river trip that runs from Sarlat-la-Canéda to Bergerac, passing through Carcassonne on the way to Cahors, and Toulouse is worth seeing too. A trip I'd recommend to anyone.
