The story

This year we went to Paris, in search of history and art in this wonderful European capital. Like very many other people, we initially contacted a couple of travel agencies to get information and prices for our stay across the Alps, then we decided to rely on the internet, this virtual world where you can find everything and more, and so, after many www., we found the solution we were looking for on Expedia. This trip was exciting right from the planning stage; in fact I organised it not only for myself and my partner but also for a couple of friends from Rome who have followed us on other trips. Hotel Taylor, in the Place de la République area, well connected to the metro (200 m), clean and with a good breakfast, for a stay of 6 nights, seven days for four people, 1000 euros.

We flew to reach the French capital; considering that the timing was in our favour, we booked a Ryanair flight from Treviso in good time, spending 75 euros each, taxes included, return. The transfer from Beauvais airport to the centre of Paris was also booked online, allowing us to arrive at the hotel calmly, considering that we reached Paris late in the evening. During our stay we visited the splendid tourist and artistic attractions of Paris: the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the Marais, the Sacre-Coeur, etc. We tasted a few dishes of French cuisine (very expensive) but generally we preferred to fall back on Mexican and Italian restaurants and sometimes bistros. An unforgettable trip that gave us a host of emotions.
