Paris at Christmas time is beautiful; I was very sceptical about how romantic it could really be, but believe me it truly is. In December it's a bit chilly, but nothing can take away the magic of this city. It's a bit pricey, but if you're careful you don't spend that much. At lunch, eat baguettes, they're fabulous, and for dinner I strongly recommend the Latin Quarter, it's full of typical little restaurants at affordable prices — beware of water and coffee... they're sky-high! Absolutely go up the Eiffel Tower, the view from up there is a spectacle, and then walk... walk as much as you can, only that way do you really experience every corner, even though the metro is still very convenient and easy to use.
