After landing at the port of Genoa and armed with courage, we drove about 900 km by car to reach Paris. What can I say.... it's the fourth time I've been, and it's always beautiful. This time too we made a trip to Versailles and a day at Eurodisney.
Everything in Paris is beautiful and unique, from the view you get from the Tour Eiffel to a walk in Montmartre, in the little streets that watched painters like Picasso and Modigliani grow up. From Notre Dame cathedral to the magnificent Place des Vosges, from the Père Lachaise cemetery (where, among others, Jim Morrison and Oscar Wilde are buried) to the City of Science.
And let's not talk about art.....the Louvre, the Musée d'Orsay, the Picasso Museum, the Salvador Dalí museum or modern art such as the Pompidou.
A particularly nice thing was renting (for very little money) a Parisian studio right in the heart of the Marais, so as to enjoy the holiday in every way just like a perfect French person.
