The story
Nelahozeves Castle, a short distance from Prague and easily reached by train, is one of the finest Renaissance buildings in Bohemia. Inside there is an important permanent exhibition spanning six centuries of European art, with works by Bruegel the Elder, Veronese, Rubens and Canaletto. The only drawback is that during the winter months the castle stays closed...
