Road Trippin' (2)

A "Road Trip" is a journey by car, sometimes unplanned or improvised, or a trip that involves sports games far from home, thus including the car journey, regardless of the intermediate stops (source: wikipedia).

Road Trippin' is the title of a song by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. It is part of their seventh studio album, Californication (1999). The song tells of a journey along the Pacific Coast Highway, in which the singer Anthony Kiedis, the guitarist John Frusciante and the bassist Flea "surf" at Big Sur after Frusciante's return to the band.

Our Road Trip is well summed up by the opening verses of the RHCP song: Road trippin' with my two favorite allies (Caterina & Matteo) Fully loaded we got snacks and supplies (in the car the provisions were never lacking) It's time to leave this town (Rome) It's time to steal away (we really did slip away) Let's go get lost (we got lost on purpose) Anywhere in the U.S.A.
