The cruise made its first stop in Dubrovnik. Even the arrival was spectacular because the ship sailed along an endless string of islands, or rather, mountains rising from the sea. When it docked, from the windows of the ship's restaurant, on the tenth floor, you were at the height of the houses on the mountain.... but you were in a port, therefore at sea level! We got off, took a taxi and in 10 minutes we arrived in the center. From there, we moved with a local bus to a town to the south, Cavtat, which you reached in about forty minutes and which had been recommended in some travel diary I had read. Honestly, it was a truly wasted trip, if not for the fact that we took a quick swim in a beautiful, cold sea and in any case hard to reach as a landing spot. Back in Dubrovnik, we plunged into the crowd of tourists strolling through the city.
Full of churches, alleys and beautiful views, it's a true drawing room!
