A Very Biograd-able Holiday

A holiday of nothing but sun and sea. Destination: the beautiful coast of Croatia. People had spoken well of this destination, but I didn't believe the Croatian sea and nature could be so beautiful.... A travel agency organised the flight + hotel package for us, with half-board. The hotel that hosted us was the Kornati, in Biograd. An old building from the middle of the last century, but the interiors and rooms completely renovated. The self-service breakfasts were excellent and plentiful, and the same goes for the dinners.... A varied menu and exquisitely excellent dishes meant we could do without the local restaurants.... The seafront is easily reachable on foot from the hotel. We chose few excursions..... One day to the Kornati islands and one to Zadar.

The rest of the days were spent in complete relaxation on the beach in front of the hotel and at the pool and wellness centre inside the very hotel that hosted us. In my humble opinion, if I were to go back to Croatia another time I'd opt for a drive-and-car holiday (ideally a motorbike). The Croatian coast is truly beautiful and there's so much to discover and photograph.... During the bus journeys I noticed lots of adverts for apartment and holiday-home rentals.
