The story
The image of Croatia is no longer that of a pleasant corner of the world, but of a hell destroyed by war. Despite the tragedies and horrors of recent years, the charm of Istria has nevertheless remained intact. An example are the medieval atmospheres that survive in the cobbled streets of Porec, Rovinj and Pula, but without doubt many traces of the recent war still remain and almost every inhabitant has something to tell about the conflict of '91.
