If, like us, you spend a holiday in Croatia, don't forget to take an excursion to Bosnia. Visit Mostar, a stupendous city that is rising again after the long conflict that began in 1993 and ended not many years ago. The signs left by the war are striking and can be seen along the road that leads to Mostar, a city famous for the bridge destroyed and then rebuilt in 2004. The atmosphere is very peaceful in this country, the people of Mostar are very welcoming. The centre has now been entirely rebuilt, but there are still very many buildings ripped open by bombs. We were there on 13 June 2007 and we will never forget this place Greetings from the travellers Claudio and Valentina Bosnia and Herzegovina (13 June 2007)
