The story

A short visit to Belgium combined with the one to Holland. Flight with Virgin Express from Rome and a couple of days spent in Europe's capital, Brussels. The city is rather gathered around the Grand Place, a wonderful square. Interesting is the visit to the area where the EU offices are concentrated and also the Heysel Park area. There you can find not only the Atomium (an iron crystal enlarged I don't know how many times), visitable and quite interesting, but, if you like, you can also take a look at the Heysel Stadium, sadly famous for that Juventus-Liverpool match that caused over 30 deaths. In Brussels we recommend a visit to Lady Godiva (unmissable for chocolate lovers (and not only). A visit is necessary just to see the varieties of product and the skill of the assistants as they wrap the chocolates.

You won't be able not to eat the "moules", that is mussels made in countless variations (fried, breaded, classic, with cream, etc. etc.) and "moules et frites" (with chips) seems to be the national dish. A stop in the pubs of Brussels is a must to try "Mort Subite", a very good beer ( All that remains is to wish you a good trip to Brussels.
