Austria with the Fiat 126 With Sergio, we set off here from Italy for Cappella di Casalmaggiore where we sleep one night at grandparents Giovanni and Teresa's, then set off for the Brenner, which we cross in November with freezing cold and snow on the ground. It's already dark and we enter Austria, slowly down as far as Innsbruck, we continue on the motorway towards Vienna, but we're tired and decide to stop; not having however changed the local currency, we didn't know how to pay for the hotel, so we decide to sleep in the car, folding down the two tiny seats of the little car. We see though that at the roadside the cars passing continuously keep us awake, so we move to the edge of Mauthausen, the famous crematorium of the Jews, and here with the calm we fall asleep, even though the place, historically, isn't the best.
The next day we visit the gloomy place and then continue to the border with Hungary to reach Romania. bye
