New Year in Austria

Ready..... here we go!!!!!!!!!!! This year the destination was Livigno, then along the way we changed our minds and headed to Austria...... First stop Trieste... wonderful, but then the bora wind picks up and off we go..... Once in Austrian territory we stop in Graz.... nice.... the old town is beautiful..... but nothing compared to what we'll see later.... we cross Carinthia, which to be honest doesn't thrill us that much, and finally we arrive in Vienna........... Stunning, grand, marvellous.... there aren't enough adjectives to describe its beauty... maybe because I had been thinking about it for a few years and making my "mental journeys".... but our expectations are not disappointed.... except by the temperatures, playing tourist at -7 isn't exactly the best... three days devoted to visiting the city and its beauties..

the magnificent St Stephen's Cathedral, the streets and squares lit up by the Christmas lights are then an enchantment....
