The thing that struck me most about Graz — its "main attraction" — is the clock tower perched on the hill at the edge of the city. We walked up there at sunset, and it was magical straight away. The purple and orange light reflected off the tower painted a warm yellow and lit it up entirely; in the distance you could see the bell towers of the typical Austrian churches rising from the greenery made glittering by the light, while all around the panoramic terrace there were arches covered in flowers. Fantastic! We went to Klagenfurt mainly to see Minimundus; I'd recommend it, it has all the monumental wonders of the world (almost all of them), it's really fun, and if you're good at taking photos you can even claim you've really been there, since they're practically identical to reality in their attention to detail.
Another thing not to miss is the reptile house (right next door): there are two crocodiles, various big lizards, spiders, snakes, giant fish, "armoured" water turtles and two fantastic giant Galápagos tortoises. INFORMATION: 1. Remember you can't drive on the motorway without buying the sticker, which depending on the price can last a day, a week, a month, etc.; it doesn't cost much and, above all, since there are no toll booths, you drive freely and easily. 2. Shops in Austria are closed on Saturdays, except in the capital;
Conclusions: two lovely cities that fully embody the Austrian spirit!
