Turks & Caicos

Nine-night stay in Providenciales (also known as Provo), the most developed island of the Turks & Caicos, at the Comfort Suites hotel, where we're even given a free night (offered for stays of at least 7 nights); it's one of the few bed & breakfasts on the island, which is full of luxurious resorts. Providenciales offers beautiful beaches, starting with the famous Grace Bay (about 12 miles of walks!), Sapodilla Bay (the water is very shallow and it feels like walking on velvet) and Malcolm Bay, reachable only by jeep (the road is steep and full of potholes), but at the end of the long road the view is repaid and then some! everywhere, spectacular shades of sea colour, from emerald green to turquoise to the most transparent light blue.

Boat trips to go snorkelling on the 3rd largest barrier reef in the world and to the other nearby islands: Water Cay (Iguana Island), North Caicos and Middle Caicos: on the latter is the wonderful Mujadin beach. An ideal trip for those who love white, deserted beaches and fabulous sea. I almost forgot — as for the flight, we left from Bologna with Air France and changed in Paris for Miami, then from Miami with American Airlines to Providenciales. Total trip cost about 2,000 euros each.
