It was an unforgettable trip. Mexico is truly a place full of charisma. Wonderful places, people always cheerful and jovial. We went out at night without worry in the little town called Playa del Carmen (quite close to Cancun), paying very little for a taxi that then waited for us until midnight and beyond, taking us back "safe and sound" to the hotel. Good heavens, calling the Playa Maroma a hotel is offensive... it's an exceptional structure!!!!!!!! anyway the people were very kind and there was no attempt at mugging or anything like that, we had some beers in a very characteristic place and at the price of 2 they served you 4!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The organisation of Viaggi del Ventaglio was perfect, without any problem. Of excursions we did 2, one on four-wheeled motorbikes, which took us to discover the wonderful essence of the cenote you see in the photos.

The water was freezing but clear and clean. The bats were no bother... The other excursion was to Coba. From the top of that Maya pyramid you can see in the photo, the gaze was lost for miles and miles in the green of the forest. I'll just say that my fear of heights wasn't enough to stop me from enjoying such a spectacle... One word: WONDERFUL
