Itinerary: New Year 2013 Caribbean catamaran cruise: travel programme and route Celebrating New Year in the Caribbean is definitely one of those experiences to try at least once in a lifetime. A New Year in the Caribbean on a cruise aboard a catamaran or a sailing boat means spending an alternative, fun and relaxing holiday; and in that very cold time of year the Caribbean is one of the most beautiful places to spend an exclusive holiday, different from the usual, in the sun and the warmth. Filaviasail organises a New Year cruise to the Caribbean and the Grenadines aboard a comfortable, fast catamaran, where you will find every comfort and convenience so you won't miss the classic hotel room; the luxury here is being able to live in direct contact with nature and savour the beauty of the magical Caribbean waters.

The 2012/2012 New Year cruise to the Caribbean and Grenadines lasts a total of 11 days and 12 nights. Departure by catamaran from Fort De France, first swim after 30 minutes of sailing. The stops will be at Saint Lucia with the fantastic bay of Rodney Bay; the next day it is Saint Vincent's turn with a stop at Wallilabou, and the following morning we set off for Bequia, where at Admiralty Bay we'll take a swim in sky-blue water. At New Year in the Caribbean lots of lobsters are caught, which we'll buy, cook and eat aboard our catamaran. The next day the moment everyone has been waiting for arrives... the coral archipelago of Tobago Cays!!!! A true day of celebration for everyone: coral reef, coconut palms and many paradise beaches.

Not that the previous stops are any less, but a real New Year in the Caribbean by catamaran deserves to be celebrated at Tobago Cays, while the locals cook fish or more lobster on the barbecues. On these little Caribbean islets (less than 200 metres from one side to the other) it is a tradition for the locals to prepare big grills of fresh fish and Creole food. Here you can stay for 2 days or set off for Union, where you dock at Mister Lambi's, a fine gentleman of colour weighing over 150 kg, owner of a Creole restaurant who entertains his guests with a fantastic steel band (oil drums turned into musical instruments with a sweet, Caribbean sound). Once the night is over we set off for Petit Saint Vincent, then Mopion and Petit Martinique: these last Caribbean islands are true snorkelling paradises, as are all the others.

From here on we head back north, passing through Mayreau, itself a real gem of the Grenadines, and we won't fail to have a drink or dinner at Black Boy's, a legend who refreshes and sings to his guests all evening. The following day we return to Saint Vincent or Bequia and then Saint Lucia to head back to the base in Martinique. In short, don't miss the best days of the year: New Year in the Caribbean by catamaran or sailing boat is an unrepeatable event!!! CATAMARAN BELIZE 43 - 4 double cabins with private bathroom. Accommodation in a double cabin with a double bed and private bathroom. Cabin charter formula. New Year (26 December - 6 January) 2013. Martinique - St. Lucia - St. Vincent - Grenadines - Martinique. 1400 euros (11 nights/12 days).
