The story

A trip organised online, both for the flight with Air Caraibes ( very good value ), the bungalow ( Coeur Caraibes ) located five minutes from the beautiful Grande Anse beach and the rental of the fantastic yellow Twingo! Guadeloupe is a quiet island, which enjoys the sea and the typical Caribbean beaches, but with the lifestyle and comforts of Europe. It's perfect for resting, taking lovely excursions into the forest to discover fantastic waterfalls and pools where you can cool off after the effort of the walk and relax on one of the many beaches. The island is divided into two parts, Basse-Terre, more mountainous and less touched by tourism, and Grande-Terre, flatter but which to the north offers a series of very striking cliffs plunging into the sea.

The road connecting the two parts becomes impassable during the week because many people from Basse-Terre travel to work in the capital Pointe-à-Pitre and the typical queues of a 'Milan ring road' build up. It's an island for couples, families or anyway for those seeking tranquillity, forget the nightlife and the clubs.
