Bayahibe........A DREAM!!!

Months and months of work......and then off on my well-deserved holiday!!! this time I decide,no resort!!I want a do-it-yourself holiday!! I take the first cheap flight and the destination is the Dominican Republic.. the flight is Malpensa-La romana..... I buy the ticket and head home to get all the info about this place!!! a marvel....I take down a few phone numbers and a few emails and start the search from home....to have at least some accommodation for the first days.. I decide that my first stop is bayahibe....a characteristic little fishing village(so the writing on the internet says). The day of departure arrives and I set off.... I arrive at La Romana airport.....A very peculiar impact.... I take a taxi to Bayahibe.............I arrive..................

and.........STUNNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Maybe it was also the sunset time,but I find myself along a bay full of boats and catamarans with a sunset that gives you goosebumps!!! I find the temporary accommodation that I booked from the internet and settle in..... I go out at once to eat fish...I love fish!!! I find a nice little typical restaurant, small with very cheap prices!! I take a mixed grill with lobster.......a delight!!!total cost 20 euros!!!!!!!! good good!!!taken by the jet lag and the enormous amount of food I ate,I head home to sleep.... The next morning, woken by the sun coming in through the window,I go out for breakfast.

in the morning the little village fills up with people going on an excursion to saona...a beautiful coming and going of people....breakfast over I take and move towards a place 3 minutes by car, called Dominicus Americanus....to be clear, where the famous Viva Dominicus beach resort is.....and here's the surprise!!!!!an enchanting place, clean and with a beach and sea like a postcard....well-kept houses and villas with every comfort...A little 5-star village!!!so the decision to move here for 3 days and live the place a bit!since hotel prices are very high,I decide to stay a week and rent a house(same price for 2 days as the viva dominicus)...I go to an agency and they immediately find me a one-bedroom flat a 2-minute walk from the sea.....a spectacle!!in the evening near here there's a big casino with a beautiful disco inside....and I spend my evenings here!..during the day I divide my t

ime between the sea of bayahibe and the sea of dominicus americanus.....the people are friendly and the beauties of the place abound and are very "friendly";-)..... After this week I decide to stay another 2 weeks.I want to keep this place as my reference point and visit some of the beauties of the island-.......in the end I see little of the island because I can't tear myself away from this place!!! To conclude I tell you that I bought a house!!!.....relying on this agency where I rented a house....A beautiful apartment in a stunning residence...
