Sometimes dreams come true. The first time I went to the Dominican Republic was back in 1995; I went for a 15-day holiday, and in the end I stayed for 1 year. After 14 years I returned with my love Tiziana; we realised we had thrown away so much time. A well-considered decision, and finally we managed to build something for our future. We took over a restaurant, it is called Issamar; challenging without a doubt, but life flows peacefully. Here we are rediscovering some values of life that we had lost; the rhythms are gentle and stress is a word that does not feature in their vocabulary. Bayahibe is a small fishing village facing the Caribbean Sea; the people are lovely, simple and cheerful. For some months of the year we will live in Bayahibe, and we will certainly be able to give you all the useful information for your trips to the Dominican Republic.
