Bayahibe

After Mauritius in spring, we decided that for the summer holidays we'd go to the Caribbean, and where better to find sun, sublime sea and fun at the same time than the Dominican Republic??? Sadly though, we got our sums wrong and ended up with a whole week of tropical storm.... downpours all day long, huge waves and the sun only a dream. When the tropical storm finally ended we had to wait another 2 days for the sun, and by then we'd reached the end of our holiday. Despite the "awful weather" it was still a lovely holiday and the Dominicans are truly, truly remarkable.
