Punta Cana, Bayahibe, Saona Island

I've finally fulfilled my second dream after the Maldives... "the Dominican Republic" A Caribbean island with dream beaches, exactly those beaches you see on postcards, with palms brushing the sea! Dominicans are very cheerful, sunny people, with music in their blood! At any hour and in any place, Latin American music was never far from your ears! And then rum and cigars (called "the vitamin" by Dominicans) at will, from 8 in the morning onwards. A perfect mix that made this island stay in our hearts! The only thing we weren't satisfied with was the underwater life; apart from the giant starfish and a few little fish we didn't see much... but after all, it's well known that the Caribbean isn't famous for snorkelling! We stayed in Punta Cana at the huge Barcelo Bavaro Resort complex, which I strongly recommend! I've never seen such a big and complete hotel complex!
