The Land of Toys

Hola, it was my third time in Cuba, within 1 and a half years (every 6 months I go back). But this time (like every time) it was a different holiday. Every time I realise I've discovered a new corner of this beautiful island. This time I happened to be there in the summer period (August), when the few Cubans who work and the many young people who study are all on holiday, so the city of Havana was full of young people and obviously of tourists... I consider Havana the most fascinating city in the world; I haven't visited the whole world, but for 15 years I've taken at least one trip a year, and since I discovered Cuba I've decided that my future holidays will always be spent on the island. This year, moreover, I decided to learn to dance Cuban salsa, taking private lessons from a well-known and very good Cuban teacher.

A truly likeable and professional person, who taught me to dance and to take my first steps. I consider Cuban salsa a very passionate dance, just as the Cubans consider it, a prelude to love. I'd have many things to tell you; I can only say, for anyone who'd like to visit this island, to contact me: I can buy low-cost plane tickets, I can rent you beautiful and clean private houses in central Havana and Cienfuegos, I can rent cars, and introduce you to my Cuban salsa teacher and help you learn this beautiful and sensual dance.
