Northern Thailand and the Golden Triangle

After visiting the indescribable island of Sipadan, in Sabah, we headed to northern Thailand to visit historic cities such as Sukhothai, Ayutthaya, Chiang Mai, and even as far as the Golden Triangle, right up to Burma and Laos. A magical experience in a welcoming land with an always smiling and helpful people. The things you should definitely recommend are the old capital of Ayutthaya, the wats of Chiang Mai, a visit to the village with the giraffe women, a trip around the Golden Triangle beyond the Burmese border, and certainly 3-4 days in the legendary city of Bangkok!
